Bangor Community Theatre

is excited to announce

For our Fall production of

Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farm

by Marisha Chamberlain

Based on the novel by Kate Douglas Wiggin

Directed by Tracy Green

Set in Maine in the early 1900's, this classic story is the tale of spunky Rebecca, who travels away from her mother and 6 siblings to live with her two aunts, kind Jane and stern Miranda. Her mere presence changes for the better those who encounter her. The play gives children a real chance to shine, to show their adventurous spirits, keen intelligence and innate kindness.  And to remind us, as adults, that happiness and wonder surround us, if only we are open to its discovery.
