Bangor Community Theatre proudly presents

Love, Loss and What I Wore

by Nora Ephron and Delia Ephron

Based on the book by Ilene Beckerman

This acclaimed piece is a staged reading of monologues and scenes featuring stories from women's lives, through the lens of what they were wearing at the time.

The play explores our often complicated relationships with society's expectations, body image issues, our mothers, love interests, and ultimately, our sense of who we want to be in the world, in sometimes hilarious, sometimes poignant ways.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Among the many themes our show explores is the issue of breast cancer.

For Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we are highlighting Sarah's House of Maine. The mission of Sarah’s House is to provide temporary lodging in a comfortable “home away from home” environment to cancer patients (and their caregivers) receiving treatments at Cancer Care. Many people travel from distances of over 30 miles to receive their treatments in Brewer.

How you can help: If you are coming to see one of our live performances, you can bring an item to donate from the Sarah's House wish list. You can view the wish list here:

If you're going to watch the show on demand via Broadway on Demand, a portion of your ticket sales will be donated to Sarah's House.
